Request AN Estimate

Follow these easy steps to request an estimate for your sign. We suggest that you go through the 4-step checklist below so that you give consideration to the various elements of your sign design. The clearer your vision for your sign, the more precise Warren can be with your estimate. Warren will then work with you to refine your design and provide an accurate estimate for your project.

1. Sign Text

Business signs: what do you want your sign to say? Company Name? Address? Telephone Number? Web Site Address? Duplicate your Company Business Card?

Residential signs: What do you want your sign to say? Family Name? House Name? House Address? Ranch Name? Pet Name? Personal Quote?

2. Artwork or Illustration

Business signs: Company Logo? Look at your business card. Do you like the layout and design? If you are happy with your card and logo you could use that. Or, you could expand from your business card or start from scratch. Consider the type of illustration that you might like in addition to your logo.

Residential signs: can be either very simple or quite detailed in the design elements. Unlike business signs that demand certain elements, residential signs are only limited by your own creativity. You can design around a theme, such as, nature, a personal hobby, special interests, or a certain location. We can also work from your artwork or photos.

3. Shape and size

The size of your sign is a more important factor for a business sign as they are usually viewed from a greater distance. The sign manual states that a 4" letter can be read from 100 feet. Also, consider where it is going to be placed and how noticeable you want it.

Choose your sign package: A, B, C or Custom
Single or Double-sided?
Shape: square, rectangle, round, oval, shield, etc. Portrait or landscape. We can do almost any custom shape.
Size: Please notate your size preferences in the comments box below.

4. Colours

The greater degree of contrast between your letters and background determines the overall readability.

For example, a light-coloured background works best with dark lettering or vice versa. Do you want the sign to be compatible with your building or home colour or more in contrast? Using a wood tone border is a good neutral break. Choose your border and background colours first. Then, choose your letter colour and finally your accent.

Artwork usually takes on the natural colours of the elements. Trees are green, etc. but feel free to be as specific as you like. We offer many colour selections as well as stains or you may supply your own paint chip. Please notate your colour or stain preferences in the comments box and we will contact you. Be sure to specify your colour preference for each of these 4 elements:

- Border
- Background
- Letter Colours
- Accent
